Mr. Segaram is a former Founder, Chairman and CEO of a vast number of companies. Having spent over 28 years in the Semiconductor, Electronics and Software industries, along with extensive management experience.

Throughout his career Mr. Segaram has not only adapted but pioneered new technologies. He has a solid technical knowledge as well as deep understanding of what is required for a company to succeed. Mr. Segaram continues to adapt to the ever changing nature of engineering, particularly to the development of new platforms for the Software Industry.

Mr. Segaram holds an MSEE, from the UK and has been granted over 35 worldwide patents within the various areas of Electronics' hardware & software Engineering.


Ville Sarimaa

Director Of Software Development

Within the past 14 years, Mr Sarimaa, has specialized in software research and development across a variety of industries including telecommunications and pharmaceutical, both in Australia and Europe.

As Lead Developer, Mr. Sarimaa, has liased for a global team developing one of Pfizer's key internal research projects in the software as well as business areas.

Mr Sarimaa displays an aptitude for utilizing the latest technologies available and demonstrates agile development practices to manage a team of developers by keeping projects on target and on time, achieving successful results.


Widya Ishananto

Director Of Finance

In the past 17 years, Ms. Ishananto has worked in all manner of accounting and finance roles. Her career started in a start-up company which was acquired by a major semiconductor company. Since then, her focus has been more on providing accounting and financial services for small to medium sized business. Ms. Ishananto holds an MBA in Finance and BS in Marketing.


Carl Blair

Director of Hardware Engineering

Carl Blair is a former design engineer with extensive experience in the design of retinal imaging products and working on ophthalmic products. Carl has honors degrees in Electronics and Communications Engineering and Physics, from Curtin University in Australia. At present, Carl is working on his doctorate in Physics at the University of Western Australia.



Prof. Yogesan Kanagasingam

Inventor of the EyeScan device

Prof. Yogesan has over 20 years experience in Ophthalmology and Medical Informatics. Some technologies pioneered by him have been commercialised - he is part of many start-up companies. He was a Fulbright Scholar at the Byers Eye Institute, at Stanford University and has been a visiting Scholar at Harvard University. Presently, he is the Research Director of the Australian e-Health research Centre, having worked in the field of telemedicine for over 20 years.

Prof. Yogesan is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Medicine, at the University of Notre Dame in WA, past President of the Australasian Telehealth Society and member of the Board of Directors of the International Society for Telemedicine and e-Health. He is, as well, Vice-President and Board Director of the International Council on Medical and Care Compunetics, in Holland. Prof. Yogesen has a patent portfolio of over 30 patents and 90 published papers.

Dr. Leonard Goldschmidt

Dr. Goldschmidt is an Adjunct Professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine (Ophthalmology) and the Medical Director for Telehealth and Medical Informatics at the Department of Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System in Palo Alto, California. He has been working to improve patient health care using information technology tools for more than 10 years. Among his projects that have improved care have been the use of remote video consultation for patients with spinal cord injury, home telehealth using personal messaging and other tools, patient health education portals, web portals for triage of selected clinical conditions, and teleretinal imaging for diabetic retinopathy screening. More than 400,000 diabetic patients have been imaged in remote primary and eye clinics in VA in the past three years.


Steve Stephansen

Mr. Stephansen is CEO and chairman of LifeWave Biomedical. He is a 30 year veteran of the high tech industry and has a strong record of achievement in the global commercialization of highly innovative technology products, including semiconductor solutions for high speed computing and signal processing, Internet video capture systems, and mobile application software. His functional experience has spanned marketing, sales, business development, and CEO roles of technology companies.

He has previous CEO experience at two venture backed technology startups; WebV2, Inc. acquired by Siemens, AG) and Agoura Technologies, Inc. Previous to his CEO experience, he held the position of VP of Marketing & Sales at venture-backed Information Storage Devices where he grew annual sales from $0 to $55M sales in four years, leading to successful initial and secondary public offerings. He also served in several senior marketing and sales positions at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) early in his career and later as VP of Strategic Marketing for the $1B flash memory division.

He holds an MSM from the Stanford GSB, an MBA from Santa Clara University, an MSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a BSEE from Lehigh University. While at Stanford, he engaged in medical device development in the Stanford BioDesign program
